Our F-ed Up Health Care System

Celiac can be triggered by such things as mono, extreme stress and so forth.

Many people who suffer with fibromyalgia, migraines, chronic fatigue, and chronic candida infections realize that they feel better when not ingesting gluten.

"My teeenage daughter also has recurring EBV. She has not been down badly with it in about a year since deciding that being gluten-free was not so bad. It just took her a long time to decide to deal with the celiac disease issue. Hopefully your immune system will stabilize once you are diagnosed and go gluten-free. Maybe then many of your symptoms will mediate."

For over ten years my immune system has been terrible. Going though diagnoses after diagnose after DIAGNOSIS of mononucleosis, I find it very interesting that NOT ONCE has a doctor suggested Celiacs. NOT ONCE has a doctor said to me to stay away from gluten.

After dealing with hospitals and doctor after doctor with Simon's accident, I have come to realize that YOU, the patient have to been on top of things.

It is very rare that a doctor of traditional medicine with offer you suggestions.
They might answer questions you have.... "What if I try this as an option?" "Is it too early to try this?". The response you get is "Oh yeah, that would be ok".

We really need to do our homework..............help ourselves
I also think more eyes need to opened to Alternative Medicine.
