intention/activation

today i noticed........

i can do whatever mat sit up you throw a me, with ease.
like lionel richie...all night long baby
BUT when i took the same exercise and visualized the muscles at work
THEN activly reminded myself to push to the limit
THE EXERCISE CHANGED
the intensity increased

there was a time that i was extremely frustrated with a client
where am i supposed to feel this?
she had a look on her face that said really? this is it?
we were doing a band chest press
she was moving at warp speed and not holding the proper placement
anyone can push the resistance of a rubber band
but can you activate the target muscles at work
all while stabilizing your core and holding proper body alignment?

same thing goes with a TRX workout
it is what you are willing to put into it
I can guide you and give you pointers
BUT YOU are in charge of how hard you work
i can yell and scream like jillian michaels or jackie warner
that aint gonna change how much YOU want it.

EXAMPLE: A
EXAMPLE: B
SAME EXERCISE.....WHICH ONE LOOKS HARDER?

a client of mine started her two week challenge
she has been in for her cardio twice already
& has attended two classes this week!
i noticed while i was barking ab orders
that something had changed
this girls shoulders were so far off the floor
her knees were locked
she was rockin & rollin!

DETERMINATION and INTENTION
INCENTIVE MY FRIENDS,
she is gonna get there.

clean eatin does a little summin summin to ya
gives you that extra push/drive/power.

we all tend to fall into patterns, comfort zones
you have the POWER to change those patterns
say it with me....
"I HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER"
are you always on the tread mill usually at the same pace & incline?
TURN THAT SHIT UP
or jump onto the step mill
our bodies will plateau, we build up a tolerance
your mind needs to be one step ahead of the game!

as the girls of saved by the bell would say.......
get your mind to it
go for it
get down and break a sweat
rock & roll
YOU AINT SEEN NOTHIN YET
