HDL vs LDL

LDL aka BAD
HDL aka GOOD

saturated vs unsaturated fats

CHOLESTEROL is a vital part of the structure & function of your cells

eating a lot of fats & not getting enough exercise can lead to a build up of your blood
SOLUTION: work out, watch you rintake & make sure you are getting benefical fats

200mg/dl is where we should all be
100-129mg/dl for the LDL
HDL you would want 60mg/dl or higher

good fats that can bring your bad cholesterol down & good UP
avocado
walnuts
fish oils
olive oil

bad fats spike your LDL & do nothing to benefit your HDL
trans fats
fried foods
dairy
animal fats
junk foods

DID YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE?

it really should be brought to the attention of the public
that NOT ALL FATS ARE BAD
i still hear fairly intelligent people say,"i had a great lunch, no fat"
are you talking about ALL fat or just the one that you get at the drive thu?

specifications have been made, but can be made more clearly stated
more schools & HR departments should educate on the benefits of a healthier lifestyle

load up on the good
say "when" on the bad
sweat once daily
breathe
green tea is great for lowering cholesterol
as well as dandelion tea, garlic & yams
antioxidants never fail
& dont be affraid of yogurt, not all dairy is created equal!
